Clarity of life
Life's never certain... Ever heard of this:" The only certainty in life is uncertainty." Who ever imagine that the whole world will slip into a global recession in September last year? Who ever expect mega MNCs to become bankrupt? Who can know for sure that MJ will die so suddenly? If only we are able to secure a perfect eye-sight and view the world with 100% clarity, we may evade most problems, prevent catastrophe, love our dear ones timely and appropriately. But life's never perfect, life's never clear, life's never certain. Likewise, problems in life are the uncertainties in a steady-state of life that we adopt. Humans are habitual animals. We hate disruptions, in general, to our plans, our habits, our targets, our dreams. However, there's no way we can change the rule of nature as things changed and evolved. And we can only learn to adapt to uncertainties, adapt to changes, adapt to problems. Similarly in running, I once decided to run in a state of blur. I made up my mind not to see the things around me too clearly... as it hurts with clarity; ironically. I took off my specs and I ran as fast as I could in the mysterious, unfamiliar, dark night. Every steps I took, I took it cautiously, afraid of falling down. However, humans being habitual animals, I soon learnt to accustom to the motion and environment and I am able to run harder with more confidence. Moral of the story: We hate to be in an environment strange to us. Yet, unfortunately, we are often too overwhelmed unnecessarily by the dis-clarity in life, or more appropriately in the uncertainty of our future. I wouldn't say things will definitely turn out fine and we will not fall, however if we don't try, we wouldn't know if we will emerge stronger, out of the problems in life. It's only when we give it a try, which is when we become more clear of the options laid in front of us. It's only when we never stop running, even in the states of blur, where we know we may be able to overcome the darkness and fear in ourselves. Hope this understanding will bring me far and I can persevere as I foresee a tsunami of problems awaiting me in the near future. If only, my problems can be solved.....
